A fantastic retro Ladderax wall unit in Teak and Metal made by Staples, this dates from around the 1960-70's. These were originally retailed in Heal's and are of superb quality.Ladderax systems were designed to provide stylish and versatile storage solutions for any home. The design is as relevant if not more so today allowing you adapt your furniture to your changing needs and homes.
If you're not familiar with the Ladderax system, the units are all adjustable and interchangeable, so they can be configured to your own needs. The four metal ladders are attached to the wall and the units and shelves are clicked into place using metal support rods and secured with small bolts. The swivel feet account for uneven floors and the slanting bottom section provides clearance for 6" skirting boards. The steel ladders are extremely strong and were designed to take significant weight including 1960s television sets and aquariums!
The piece is in good condition with only minimal signs of wear and tear to be expected of a piece of this vintage.
